Kikori: Building a Brand and Platform from the Ground Up
Since Kikori’s inception as an edtech startup, I’ve served as the sole designer, shaping the brand and product experience from the ground up over the past five years. My work spans the full spectrum of design—from creating the visual identity and brand system to leading UX and UI design across the mobile app (iOS & Android) and web platform. I’ve developed engaging, intuitive interfaces rooted in extensive market research, user interviews, and feedback studies to ensure the product continually evolves to meet the needs of educators.

Kikori SEL Calendar
In addition to digital design, I’ve produced video content and designed our most impactful resource: a monthly social-emotional learning (SEL) calendar for teachers, which drives the majority of traffic to our platform.

The Challenge: Brand Consistent Age Group Differentation
As Kikori has expanded to serve middle and high school educators alongside our core elementary audience, I’ve developed a cohesive yet differentiated visual language to reflect the needs of each group in our Daily Morning Meeting & Advisory Slides. This project represents not only my ability to wear many hats, but also my deep investment in designing tools that make a meaningful impact.
